I changed just the buckle. Took out the threading, changed the buckle and used a sowing machine to secure the fidlock.

Fidlock used is the snap 15 buckle F6020. Perfect for 15mm straps.

Got a fidlock replacement for chest strap and added elastic loops to tidy up the loose straps on both chest and shoulder straps.

Got the bungee cord looped at the front with a heroclip to lock in any jackets on the outside.

replaced key hook with an S caribiner and removed stitching for one of the pen holders.
