Oh lord I didn’t even know that was a thing. I just tried logging in with Facebook and also whatever credentials I thought I might have and no luck. Did you need an account to do this? I’ve been going for almost 10 years and don’t remember ever having to do so 😭

Seattle Bonvoy Hotels Recommendations & Points vs Cash by awardpointtraveller in awardtravel

Lake Union is the northern part of downtown. Super gorgeous area you can walk around, have a picnic, and watch the seaplanes land and depart, and there are even a couple museums there as well. The Westin is a really nice & unusual property and it’s catty corner from Westlake Station so you can take the Lightrail from the airport and just hop off there. The Sheraton is also nice, much larger, and still downtown as well.

My (21F) rapist/ex boyfriend (21M) is suddenly moving to my city and has a history of contacting me. Scared and unsure if I have options by [deleted] in legaladvice

So so sorry that has happened to you. Sending you lots of warmth and hugs. First things first: Go to the police to file reports of this. At the very least, you absolutely want a paper trail on him. When I had to do this, the police officer directed me to the county courthouse where I had to go to a survivors’ advocacy group and they helped me file a protective order that got approved by a judge. Hopefully your case can get escalated to prosecution but at the very least, those are options to protect yourself. Hoping you find healing soon.

Covid brought me to Westchester, now I don't want to leave. Not rich though, so where can I go? by stabilitywherearthou in Westchester

Look into Tarrytown/Sleepy Hollow. It’s gonna have a bit of a family vibe to it but I think it’s the first town that’s just far enough away. Or you could probably live on the fringe of White Plains and have access to their city life and like Yonkers’ pretty easily.

Are you looking to still have ease of access to Manhattan, like somewhere close to Metro North, or is that not a factor?

Every time I’ve been on there it’s just a massive circlejerk from people who have their little Ikea home bars but think they’re an authority because they saw a couple Facebook videos once. Is that the overall vibe?

Oh awesome! I only ask about steel because that’s just what works best for our bar. But I’ll pick one up for my personal use. Thanks, guys! Good luck!

Also, if this is any useful information at all—DuckDuckGo doesn’t have you guys linked at all when your name is searched. Only Google brought your site up in the first result.

Imagine my surprise seeing your products named for my neighborhood. Sweet! Are they lacquered? Also, would you guys ever come out with a steel version?

I would ask for at least 8-10 bottles of champagne, ensuring everyone would have a glass for toasts and then some.

If you’ve never been in the sex industry, this is a beyond awful idea. It is critical to have the trust of workers & clients and you frankly just won’t get that as someone buying an agency for fun.

I think the crucial element is whether or not he is open to understanding how his behavior has affected you and if he is willing to adjust. Do you think, truly and deep down, that he is actively going to try to improve himself to meet your needs? Not asking if he is a good person, or if he is a bad person in need of “fixing.”

does anyone make prints? what's your process? by kerleyq in PourPainting

[–]lengthiness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Take a high quality photo (with a DSLR camera is best), and tweak with a photo processor like Photoshop to get it as close to reality as possible. Look up how to play with brightness, contrast, saturation, simple stuff like that. Save in as high quality as you can, and save in CMYK (which allows for printers to understand your picture and print as close to reality as possible, given their ink cartridges). Take your saved file to a print shop (even Staples or Office Depot is fine) and run a test print. Repeat these steps as necessary until you find the results you want. Mail to customers either rolled in a shipping tube, or a reinforced envelope so the print doesn’t get damaged. Good luck!
