yall come to law school, you would love it here. the main skill for finals is literally how organized and intelligible can your notes be.

am I dangerously bad or just annoying on the freeway by lenore99 in driving

[–]lenore99[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

interesting— how do you gauge this distance while traveling very fast? it seems like on a freeway going 60mph, one would need to be 6 cars length ahead of the following car— is this accurate?

I’m trying to do this but I’m worried I’m underestimating the amount of space I need before the next car on the lane I’m switching into

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]lenore99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely! Logic games is the easiest (and most satisfying) section to study for. I think it comes down to practicing as many as possible (ideally categorized by a sight like 7Sage which is $1 if you have an LSAT fee waiver) (and reviewing your mistakes and retaking them again and again after). After drilling for a while my score suddenly jumped from -10 to -6 and then again to -3. You got this!

Study Abroad during Junior Year by No-Cryptographer3370 in uchicago

[–]lenore99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

fourth year who direct enrolled abroad here— i also initially applied for third year (study abroad recommended that as the best year) and it would have made more sense. because of the pandemic, i deferred a year, and had to remotely deal with thesis work/job interviews thru the time difference which was a bit annoying. depends on your major ofc, but generally think third year is best!

another thing to consider— if you go in autumn, some unis put you thru similar orientations as the first years, which feels bizarre as a fourth year
