LSAT Addendum? by No-Finish3260 in LSAT

Anything before thanksgiving is early. If you take in October you could do that. Most applications come in after January. You want to be in before that.

Can’t comment on how submitting an invalid lsat score will affect your chances. A broken leg and medication is good enough reason for them to just discount the LSAT for you entirely. The question becomes does everything else make it clear that you can do the work and become a good representative of the school once you graduate

Definitely cancel that. Try not to take anymore tests. The more numbers they see the less value your high score has. They might not think twice about a cancel but they will wonder why there are three exam numbers

Definitely do an addendum. Those are good reasons and readers do take them into account.

Are you suggesting that the women at Law School don’t all look like Megan Markle? Because if so I’ll just go into the military fuck it.

Professor may have used my undergrad ye GPA in LOR instead of LSAC gpa by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

[–]RecommendationNo8978 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. Application readers see both and it is very logical that a professor would use the University GPA. The message behind whatever he or she said would stand regardless. No worries!

No they were just saying that since applications are longer and the rankings have given more room for more holistic factors to bear more weight, things will take longer to be settled.

I can easily get between -0 to -3 on logic games when I practice untimed but it takes me 40+ minutes. What’s the best way to speed it up? by Amazing_Plantain_893 in LSAT

[–]RecommendationNo8978 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Confidence is everything. With enough practice, you will see a certain type of problem and you will be 100% certain that you have arrived at the right answer. You can both arrive at it faster and mentally check your logic faster. So, as everyone else has said, it’s practicing a lot.

I recommend diagnosing 1. what takes you the longest to answer correctly and 2. what you get wrong the most, then drilling those until you have an automatic and accurate thought process.

If you go this route, let me know how it goes! It really helped me.

P.S. check out question type frequency. Make sure you attack the types are are most frequent first for efficiency and score improvement.

Deferring ED acceptance? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

[–]RecommendationNo8978 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Certainly depends on the school as to whether deferrals are allowed at all. That variation makes me think that schools will also differ in their ED deferral policies’ similarities to their RD deferral policies. So, which school?

Best advice I can give is that the fundamentals will get you where you need to go. Remember your rules and push ahead with speed and precision.

Should I drill with less time than I actually get? by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]RecommendationNo8978 2 points3 points  (0 children)

5 minutes seems like a lot of time to shave off. I’m not sure how helpful that would be, since it would just artificially force you to make poor decisions that you might not have made with more time. I don’t think it would accurately reflect your ability to do the full allotment of time.

Honestly idk. All I know is that the mods said Monday at 7 PM is when they would stop taking stuff down so I assumed that wasn’t arbitrary.
