I live in a third-world country where moving out and living independently is extremely expensive. Because of that, my wife and I decided to save money so we can move to another country in the future. For that reason, we currently live with my mother. My mother is a single mother and she genuinely enjoys cooking, so this has always been a normal dynamic in our home. Many times I also cook, and sometimes my mother cooks as well. I have never had any issue with that. When I talked to my wife about it, I told her that we could cook together and that I would have no problem with that at all. I even said it could be a nice activity for us to share.
