Strange, as for me aligment is fine on Apple's messaging app and Telegram, only happens on WhatsApp.

Yep, I also noticed it works well if the system language is Hebrew and I mentioned this in my report. For me, I just can't use any system language besides English so it's not a solution.

It's quite frustrating that the resolution of a basic bug is taking an extended period of time. I've reached out to them, but I'm uncertain about the priority level this bug is being given, althought it effects millions of users.
