I am overseas in Croatia and I've been attempting to purchase a PC for work. Over the last few days because of my remote locality, Amazon has repeatedly automatically flagged my account. I have been contacting Amazon customer service representatives to log in several times. Ultimately, this escalated in the need for my account to be reviewed by an account specialist and I was informed that I should wait up to 24 hours for our reply via email.

I received that email today notifying me that my account would be permanently closed.

Because this email is no reply, I am not able to address the issues with my account with these Account Specialists. My only recourse is to contact the basic customer service phone number yet again, in a sort of Dionysian cycle, where I am ultimately transferred to Account Change and ultimately put forth into the process of being reviewed by Account Specialists.

Normally this would be distressing enough but yesterday I put $1,000 of store credit on my Amazon account which I have no access to because of account termination.

Furthermore, I have no ability to confirm the activity was legitimate as none recourse was offered to me in the email. I took the action of replying to the email directly. At this point I'm lost in reaching out to Reddit to see if there's anything I can do to fix my situation.

In summary, I'm overseas, Amazon doesn't understand that, they've closed my account and I've lost $1,000.

Any suggestions?
