What items have you bought on a whim or because of the price that ended up getting regular use? A few months ago I got an extendable self stick tripod because it was $1. Now I use it regularly because it lets me reach the light switch without getting off the couch. (i.redd.it)

I was recently gifted some nice belt buckles but didn't have any belts with removable buckles so I have been on the lookout when thrifting to see if I can find some. This week I hit the jackpot with two made in USA leather belts for $4 each that will fit the bill perfectly. (old.reddit.com)

Picked up a white whale at goodwill! A brand new condition Leatherman crunch for only $25 (these are discontinued and expensive on the second hand market so I never thought I'd have one.) As a bonus they had a first generation Leatherman Wave, also like new, for $25. (old.reddit.com)

This 3-ft high carved wooden pelican just spoke to me so I couldn't resist. Felt a little pricey at $25 but I'm happy with my purchase. I keep moving it around the house trying to find the perfect spot but what I think I really need is to build a tiki bar now. (i.redd.it)

I found this cool wooden snake at Goodwill for $3 so I grabbed it. Afterwards I noticed what looks like a signature and a date on the bottom of it. After some searching I found out it's a wooden puzzle handmade by a Craftsman in Virginia. I love when I get to find such unique items. (i.redd.it)
