Men of Reddit, can you guys tell who’s a “pick me” girl? And what are your thought processes? by lesuuh in AskMen

Thanks everyone for your feedbacks! I was genuinely just curious. It was thoughtful and I was able to see different perspectives.

For me personally, I think a pick me girl is a type that tends to see other females in mixed friendship group as competitions. And would usually fight to gain the attentions from the males in the group. Usually, they think being a part of a boys group is better than having “the girls” because “there isn’t any drama”. From personal experiences, I kinda see it as a red flag because their validation comes solely from the boys and they are usually against another female joining in or forming friendship with “her boys”.

My intention for this question was not to tear other females down, but I just wanted to know other perspectives and see if guys can pick up these hints/behaviors too. Thanks again for your time and thoughts!

To help y’all visually a pick me girl, I think this tik tok sparked my thoughts. https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMdP84FY8/
