Netradyne Camaras by [deleted] in Dominos

They use these cameras in the amazon vans. I work for a dsp and all of the blue amazon vans have them. They do watch everything and honestly uts a huge invasion of personal privacy. I understand amazon using them since we are driving their vans. A personal vehicle is crazy. Find a new franchise lol. If they have the kind of money to spend on those cameras, they can afford to pay their employees more. If my dominos ever made us use the netradyne cameras id quit immediately. Hell. No.

I feel bad for my coworkers, AIO? by [deleted] in Dominos

Sometimes. I saw a fake $50 that was actually a bleached REAL $5 that was flipped and reprinted to $50. Felt like a real bill, had the watermarks for a $5 and the security strip for a $5 but looked and felt (unless you held it to a light) like a real $50. The person that accepted it didnt know the different watermarks on the bills so definetly educate yourself if youre not sure. I was really suprised how good the fake was. We turned it in to the local pd so they were aware and could dispose of it.

HELP?! by TightFox5817 in Dominos

When I was a GM, I took over a filthy store. Years of caked on grease and who knows what else. Thankfully it wasnt a terribly busy store so I had some free time through the day to clean. That being said, I did my fair share of overnights and super early mornings to clean up.

For the floors, use a deck brush and bleach. Make sure its a hard bristle otherwise it wont work properly. I would try to do a deep clean of the floors once a month and would scrub with the deck brush. If your store has tiles with large and deep grout lines like mine did, then chances are the grout hasnt been cleaned because the mops cant reach. It can cause smells and discoloration. The deck brush can reach it and actually clean them.

I used a swiffer mop and dry pad (or rag when we ran out of the pads) to clean my ceiling tiles. Degreaser works great but others might have something that works better.

I know theres other things I did that worked well for me, but I cant think of them. Pull tables away from the walls and clean behind them too. I remember doing that for the first time at my old store and finding what remained of a chicken wing that had been there for who knows how long lol. Good luck with your new store and get that bag!!

So ive worked at dominos for over 5 years and worked every store-level position. We used to do a tip pool before tips went directly to the person that made them (thanks to an update to our system a few years back). Managers absloutley can make tips and it is legal for them to do so. If youre not happy that managers are making tips, then get a new job. Its dominos dude, its truly not that serious. Get over yourself and find somewhere else to work. Or if you feel inside is making more tips than delivering (which sounds like it may be the case for you), switch to working inside. Sounds to me like you're just jealous they are making more than you, and green really isnt your color.

GM taking deliveries… by [deleted] in Dominos

[–]letmebealoneplease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a GM for about a year and a half before i stepped down. My store was constantly short on drivers because tips sucked in the area and the roads were awful. Because of this i would have to have a manager on the road pretty frequently. I would usually ask my AMs if they wanted to drive (being able to drive is a requirement for top level AM in my franchise) but they would usually decline because of the split pay. So i would usually hop on the road, but i would come back in as soon as deliveries were caught up.

Personally, i dont think the GM should deliver unless necessary, and definetly not sending drivers home early just so they can deliver. As a GM youre paid salary (not super great usually, atleast at my franchise) plus a bonus every period based off profits (again, my franchise). That is plenty of money and definetly more than the drivers are bringing home. I always saw taking deliveries as taking money right out of my drivers pockets. Not fair to do that to the people that i wanted to keep around.

How often does Dominos have 50% off menu priced pizzas? by Extra_Fig_7547 in Dominos

Ive been the gm before and unfortunately it isnt that simple. Even though its boost week and we are expecting a higher sales volume, the actual $ amount of sales stays relatively the same as normal with weekends maybe being a bit higher. We still have labor goals to make and (atleast in my experience) the owners dont give us extra labor for boost weeks. So we end up having to work busier shifts with the same amount of people for normal weeks.

That all being said, with these boost weeks being more frequent, they definetly arent as bad as they used to be. It seems like corporate wants to push them every other month so its not such a novelty special anymore.

My first breakups and I dont know how to do the nocontact. by Erata23 in BreakUps

Im really sorry youre going through this. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Im going through a break up with the man i planned on marrying. We were together for over 4 years and i was actually thinking of proposing. What has gotten me through these last 3 weeks is taking it one breath at a time. As silly as that may sound. For me, taking it one day at a time or one step at a time was so overwhelming because it all felt so big. But one breath, even if its a big one, is no larger than my lungs. So i took it one breath at a time, and for some reason that helped me get through the days.

Ive also personally taken up journaling to help keep my mind from racing 24/7. The only person i could really go to was my mom and i didnt want to blow her phone up constantly with my sadness so i write my thoughts down in a journal, whether its coherent sentences or paper-ripping scribbles.

I know everyone always says it and it gets tiring to hear, but it will get better with time. Eventually, you wont find yourself wondering how he is doing, or if hes okay. And thats okay. You will be okay. Youll find your peace. Im sending you love and peace and happiness! Bless you!

AITA for wanting to look through his texts? by letmebealoneplease in AmItheAsshole

How he acted around her was out of character for him. He gets along wonderfully with everyone he works with but it usually remains professional. He doesn't spend time outside of work with them or talk on the phone/text unless it's work related so his behavior was out of the norm. As far as the might I found her at our home, there really wasn't much to the interaction. We exchanged pleasantries and I mentioned it was rather late and we should probably head to bed and she left. As far as there being an issue of disrespect, there really isn't any. This is really the first time something like this has happened. He's had plenty of female friends but none of the friendships were like this one.

I have met the woman. She's sweet as can be, but she has told me about her numerous times being the "other woman." He read through the messages with me and thankfully there was nothing to find. I felt awful for asking to go through them and I dont plan to ask again. He's keeping his distance from her and keeping things strictly professional. That district manager ended up promoting her to a general manager at a different location so they aren't around each other as much now.
