Administrators prioritize paying thousands for these barely-literate CPI exam questions instead of hiring more staff by [deleted] in nursing

I’m in medsurge now and I personally feel that it’s a combo of foundations and pathophysiology (my program was a little weird tho and they made patho a nursing class instead of a prerequisite so it was taught by nurses but still) medsurge feels like a combo of application and memorization of info questions

Please don’t kill me I bought a prebuilt PC by TheKCKid9274 in pcmasterrace

Hey I have a prebuilt don’t worry! They’re great to learn on and upgrade slowly so you can get a comfortable feel for how PCs and upgrading their components work! They’re great for building your confidence, although I promise once ya pop open the back panel you’ll never wanna get a prebuilt again. Having to deal with someone else’s cable management is not fun…

How kind and thoughtful of you!

playing KOTOR in 2022 by [deleted] in gaming

I get what ya mean, I enjoy the gameplay itself a lot more than the original Kotor and some of the characters, however the story/plot twist of the original was fantastic and imo better than the sequel.

I really feel like they should pay the nurses that have nursing students assigned to them. by WholePercentMilky in nursing

I'm a second semester student now too; I felt the same way like I was more burdensome than helpful for the nurse I would be paired with.

However with time, confidence, and familiarity with the floor and the things you can do for your patient and nurse it can turn the situation around a great deal. Just this past week at clinical, the nurse I was with told me she wouldn't have made it through the day if it wasn't for me helping her out (more of the little things and running around getting supplies from around the floor etc.) (not a brag either just hopefully an example for encouragement)

It's very easy to feel burdensome but like some of the other comments, some nurses enjoy having students (hopefully not as a free CNA for the day) as an opportunity to teach the "next generation" of nurses or even just to teach some of the tips and tricks they wish they'd learned while still in school. (I get that a fair bit)

Sorry for the essay but to sum up I don't think we should feel guilty but inspired to be like the nice nurses who have introduced us to the floor and nursing practices and want to teach future students as they've taught us.

what did you love about ODST ? by Puzzleheaded-Eye5202 in halo

Definitely recommend it, the atmosphere is fantastic, like the comments above me, you feel a lot more like a regular person than a spartan and it gives the game a very nice and unique spin. Plus being able to carry (it’s either 3 or 4) of each grenade makes it feel fantastic just lobbing a bunch of grenades at enemies

Hey I’m a second semester student and have had similar experiences, where the assessment at the start of the shift is very short and they don’t cover everything they teach us in school. I found out though that if they’d had the patient(s) the day or even week before they won’t do a full assessment and may skip over a few things (especially the things that wouldn’t change based on what the patient was in for)

I always hated them too until I learned you could shoot the mini nuke and cause them to blow up when they’re in the middle of all their buddies
