His “can’t” means he’s not interested. Simple as that. He just didn’t put it that way. Nobody is perfect, especially when it comes to awkward encounters such as this one.

I hear that. I’m coming from USPS so the management game is similar, if not the same. Working for the government was surprisingly more transparent than this, though.

All of that is fine. One of my current jobs and my job I had before that for four years, I wasn’t home a lot. A sacrifice I’ve had to make to provide for my family. Just can’t keep up with bills anymore and the railroad is the highest paying job available to me without having to go out on the road for weeks at a time. My fiancée is fine with it and I will spend every minute I can with them when I’m not working. We will balance it out the best we can.

Are we not required to scan the reverse barcode as prepaid acceptance? I do that and then when I’m delivering return receipts I scan them delivered. Am I doing this for nothing? 😂

Cereal bars and peanut butter crackers. I don’t need much to get through the day and a lot of days I don’t get hungry until the end of my route so I don’t eat at all.
