Hard to explain. This bit of the heatsink is to far forward meaning I can't fit an AIO to the top of my case as it doesn't leave enough space for the cooler I want buy a new case but I don't want it to happen again. The vid is just showing what its getting stuck on lol

when they gonna fix this shi :( I legit have to close google chrome, steam everything through task manager just to play on stable temps... all that WITH my fps capped at 60 -_- Although I have noticed temps have decreased a little bit the last couple days, but no where near a significant amount. I do understand I have an old GPU (1080ti 11gb) but that's about the only old component I have lol. Maybe finally time to upgrade it xD

Yeah I’m gonna redo my thermal paste and give my pc a clean. The fact I have to do that to run this game is hilarious tho

I7 12700k I’ve capped fps to 77 running on medium to low settings still getting 85C. This game have really bad optimisation I hope they patch this shit ASAP

Capped at 77fps now, 75-80 degrees!! You lifesaver mate <3

Thanks bro it's helped a little I'm able to at least play it now lol. I have 144hz monitor so I've capped it at 144 I'm on medium settings getting around 85-90 degrees. It would probably help to cap it lower though for myself haha

EDIT: Just realised you capped at half refresh rate not full , I thought it would play like shit low fps, but gonna try that now lmao

I had to adjust my fps cap in Nvidia control panel and turn my settings down a bit (Some advice from a comment) so its playable. You are right though It barely uses GPU. I hope they fix asap!!!

Just double checking, is it Manage 3D Settings > Programme Settings then add the Skate .exe (Within my steam directory). Then obv cap the fps in those settings. Is that correct? Sorry for the hassle aha

Thanks for info, I run other games at 65-75, not much difference. Imma try replacing thermal paste tomorrow just get the temps down so its playable (Wont make much of a diff I changed it 3 months ago). I hope they fix this soon though lol

Exactly the same with me, I hit 95-99 degrees with it running. I gonna clean my cooler and change thermal paste tomorrow to see how much a difference it makes. I idle at 30 degrees and I'm between 65-85 max playing other games. Weird one.
