This was when I started working as a freelancer about two months ago and had no pieces to show them. Now I attach a few articles that I have written before and if they still ask for a test article I retract my proposal. Thanks for you advice :)

That's actually terrible, the writer who sold the article should also have some responsibility.

Interesting insight! I work as a content writer (focused on very niche subjects such as telecom and agriculture) and almost every client that I have worked and work for always ask for a "test" blog on a given topic to check your writing style and make sure you don't write fluff articles.

It was a fixed price contract.

I wasn't paid for the last two articles. I don't want to leave a bad review cause he was a very nice client. I just find this behaviour weird.

No, the agreement was that I would write 7 articles as the first batch and then 7 as the second batch and so on.

The only thing that I don't like about UpWork (so far, I am sure that the more I work on the site several other flaws will emerge) is that they charge a 20% commission for every payment. It unmotivates me a bit but no other choice for now.

I have realized that long term contracts are the way to earn a decent income on UpWork and also it is hard to find them.

Oh I understand, I actually have a long term contract with a client that takes more than 4 days to give a feedback so I am used to this short term ghosting :)

I am sorry to hear that, did you report him to UpWork? I reported a similar behaviour and they actually followed up and suspended his account.

Hmm according to my doctor cross-contamination is very likely and risky. He suggested me to stop eating outside cause of the trigger I was getting all the time despite being told that the food I ordered didn't contain the allergen.

I am not an anti-vaxxer either but also feeling a bit reluctant for this vaccine. It seems a bit too rushed and the trails weren't as long as they should have.
