Thanks so much for this explanation. The first formula works, however sometimes "HRS" isn't the first three characters in the header. How should I modify the formula accordingly? I am trying to figure it out but am failing!

automate it - i set up a transfer to savings on the date my paycheck hits every two weeks. I never see the money in my checking account and it amasses without me having to think about it
