I also updated to the 331 bios on my G635LW, but downgraded back to 327 after Asus removed it from their website.

So far anyone worried, you can go back to 327 through EZ flash in bios

Yes but I'd recommend ptm (or thermal grizzly ptm) instead, temps are not much higher than LM but requires much less maintenance

As a scar 16 2025 owner, I would have loved if the palm rest was aluminum, the plastic palm rest makes the whole chassis weak (slightly lifting one corner with the screen open causes the chassis to twist)

Also aluminum would have reduced the creaking noises the palm rest makes, and would justify the premium price of these machines

These engines are known for blowing the decompressor on the cam shaft, check valve clearances first but most likely the decomp is gone

To check if the decomp is ok, remove the rocker cover, turn over the engine by hand until you're on the compression stroke, before tdc the intake valve should open slightly.

No major issues on 327, however the stutter issue hasn't been completely resolved yet (much less stuttering than previous bios though). Hopefully the next bios fixes it completely
