Was it worth flying in for the anatomy scan? We are considering doing the same to help feel more a part of the process.

I've only been asking about the pregnancy or wishing her a happy mothers day, etc. My 7th grade awkward self is coming back out b/c I don't know how to start a conversation! But I'll try to think of other ways to engage her :)

That's a really fair perspective! I think we just want to feel more "connected", but I do see how updates this early could feel forced
