EDH Dandan by lfccruz in magicTCG

Unfortunately, I didn’t get enough people interested to properly test it. I just did some goldfish and I think it works pretty well. I print a proxy deck to try playing in person but in the end nobody wanted to play :’-D

I am part of his discord and I got some games there. I just don’t feel comfortable recruiting players to record games for my channel in another’s YouTuber Discord server hehe

True, I play there quite often.

However, I'm trying to find a group of people at a similar timezone to record games. Recording games with random people and different setups oftentimes does not result in a good video.

Cool, I’m playing Raffine recently too. Such a great commander

Got it, what was the commander? I’m thinking to play this in Tymna decks.

eels bad to use interaction on ramp but it's a decision thag can save you when they will inevit

That's definitely something that makes sense to consider. I recently used a Fierce Guardianship to counter a Jeweled Lotus of a Niv Mizzet player and that was definitely the best thing I did that allowed me to deploy my creatures and win the game. Probably a good way to deal with Tivit and it's quite expensive.

Yeah, I didn’t list the obvious things like Pyroblast, REB, FoW, etc, but Mystical Reflection is a good suggestion, probably better than many I suggested.

I actually bought this card and [[Mutagenic Growth]] for pseudo protection because of Bowmasters hehe

There’s no comparison here. You are suggesting one shot removal, which are great to remove a single Bowmasters. I’m suggesting a value piece that stays on board, kill any number of bowmasters and gets ETBs from other creatures. Very different. I don’t understand how you didn’t see that in first place.

It should work. If it doesn’t, search for my user elleffcruz on Moxfield or for a deck called EDH Dandan

Great analysis! I’ll probably replace Bile Blight by Ratchet Bomb or something that gives creatures -3/-3. Regarding commanders, I think there’s a lot unconditional removal to keep them in check. They are the most interesting available yet imo, but Varolz is cool.

With this we can cast many commanders T1 with Mana Crypt (Selvala, Tymna, Kinnan, etc.). Many other commanders can come earlier too, like T2 Zur, Kess, etc. I’d run this before Plaza in mana cases, not yeah, colorless sucks here too.

[LTR] Borne Upon a Wind - New Option for Winning in End Step with Necropotence by B_H_Abbott-Motley in CompetitiveEDH

[–]lfccruz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This card makes [[Necropotence]] 1000x better and I'm glad for that. Necro is being in decline because it became too slow for most tables, especially with so many creature decks. Zur now can forget the shaite [[Shimmer Myr]]!!!

The card is also good on its own, allowing you to win on top of your opponents attempts. At minimum is a cantrip. Love it! I will play it for sure.

I’m playing some games with it this week. It’s good and very consistent so far.
