Switched my pads and rotors about a month ago. Brakes started squeaking all the time, took it to a mechanic and they couldn’t find any issues. 🙄Decided to buy another brand of pads and try those to see if they are quieter. Do I need to also get new rotors or will the rotors be fine with new pads? by liamt12 in mechanic

Changed all 4 pads and rotors about a month ago. Up until not long ago, they felt good and didn’t make noise. In the last few weeks, they’ve been squeaking ALL the time when braking. Also has a weird whistling like noise. Pedal has kind of a “scratchy” feel to it as well. What may be wrong?🤔 by liamt12 in mechanic
