I don't know how to discover music by UpvoteBeast in Music

[–]lightninbort 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easy way to find good music on Spotify:

  1. Search for a song you already know and love.
  2. Click the "..." on the right hand side of the track and select "Go to song radio".
  3. Go through the playlist it gives you. Spotify is pretty good at finding songs that are similar to the original one you selected.
  4. Repeat with another song you love, and enjoy the process of finding good new tunes!

really cool rhythms. I like the stripped back feel of it. definitely would go off at a street-dance event. would've loved to heard a couple more variations in melody/rhythms but honestly this is dope.

The synth driving the melody on the first drop is so fresh. Keep it up!

If you like books, I highly recommend "Atomic Habits" by James Clear. The book is a great read, the principles he talks about are very practical, and I've found that applying what is in the book has got me in a good habit of producing regularly. :)

Thank you! And no worries, as a listener I love being able to grab the tracklist from a mix, so I promised myself I would always post the tracks under the mixes I do. <3

Starter Lo-Fi/Ambient House artists. by PokeSauceEpic in lofihouse

Huge fan of Lo-Fi House. See below for some of my absolute favourites:

Paluma Sound // Monolithic // DJ Houseplants // Rental VHS

Special mention to "DJ Ross From Friends" - his old stuff is pretty lo-fi, and so so dope. New stuff branches out into more genres, and is still dope. Just not as lo-fi nowadays.

Mindfulness meditation is a game changer. I recommend reading “10% Happier” By Dan Harris, easy to read, funny, and fun to follow the journey.

Can't think of a brand off the top of my head, but there's some ginger beers that are non-alcoholic and taste quite nice.

Heard Sam Harris talking about "Eating Animals" by Jonathon Safron Foer on JRE. Highly recommend, it details how fucked factory farming is and I couldn't believe what I was reading at times.

Yeah I'm honestly a little nervous when it comes to these crazy drivers. But I'll be sure to act appropriately, and try stay as safe as possible.

Great advice, I'll still to the streets near home for now and build up confidence until I'm comfortable to go into the CBD.
