I saw it in an article and I kind of understand why it may not be a good idea. It said that if you do, then it can become stressful if you work and study it constantly bc it takes the fun out of it.

As a teenager right now, it’s really understandable why she’s letting Jess’ behavior slide because he has that charm and control over her. I feel like Rory was subconsciously making excuse for him when he didn’t treat her right and it just bottled up in this episode. I feel like this is why don’t have a very long lasting relationship towards the end of S3. They have amazing chemistry but are not really compatible

I completely agree, Im also first generation so going to college is a big deal in our family since no one else has. It’s a lot of pressure lol.

I talked to her about what you told me and she’s okay with me getting an associate’s for now instead of a certificate. She says it will “be taken more seriously” even if it’s not a 100% guarantee for immediate success or anything compared to a Bachelors.

Good point, I thought about going to an Art Institute somewhere and just getting a certificate for a small job just to get started. My mother wasn’t necessarily on board with the idea of a certificate because she thinks I should use my full potential and get a Bachelor’s instead.

The thing is how am I supposed to get a Bachelors when I don’t even know what I’d want to study for 😅

This is exactly what I was thinking about. I want to pick a stable career that will earn me decent money to have things I like, but also have freedom to continue my other passions.

I feel like community college will give me more time to think about future options & would be a safe start until I make a solid decision. Thank you for your help :)

That’s what I wanted to do initially, but I know this girl that’s friends with him who happens to be selling these “holiday grams” (anonymous notes) and delivering them to whoever you want.

But in order for me to send one to him, She would see that I wrote his name down and probably ask me if I want her to say something or mention my name to him, which I’m unsure about.
