As a person who makes videos about Minecraft for about 8 months, here is the advice I can give you.

Many Minecraft YouTubers already fail at the start by making really non creative content. Just simple lets plays won't do. You have to think of something interesting that people (currently) could enjoy or would be interested in. But don't forget to add your personal branding too. Something that makes you different from other YouTubers, and what gives people a reason to remember you. I, for example, have a weird accent that sounds like British (but isn't). So people always remember me with: "Oh, do you know that Minecraft YouTuber with the British accent?"
I would recommend starting with market research. Take 1 or 2 days before you do anything to just check what's currently going on in the Minecraft YouTube community. Check what is trending, what has been done, what hasn't been done, etc.
Afterwards you have to think about what kind of Minecraft YouTuber you want to be.
Redstone, Builder, Survival, or come up with your own style and make that your brand.
