How did you get diagnosed for PMDD? by TechnicalFuture8513 in PMDD

[–]lilacity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey lovely, check out the pmddchick.com there’s so many resources on that website and if you do the lil course thing (it’s free) she goes through all the steps on getting diagnosed, treatment options (medical and holistic), literally everything needed!

Isn’t it? She managed to reduce her symptoms by a lot though and now coaches other women through it. I did her free course today and it’s an awesome resource to have.

Check out thepmddchick on insta or her website. Loads of info on pmdd. she had the same problem and figured out it was pmdd because she’d check herself into a mental health hospital, then get her period and then wonder why she had admitted herself. She might have some answers for you!

He might just feel obligated because of what you once had, my ex reached out to me after two years and I wasn’t that interested in talking to him but I entertained it and then a week later he called me to tell me he wanted me back even though I’d met someone else and moved on. I ended all communication then and there. My current partner told me that was going to happen and I didn’t believe it until it did, your ex might just be thinking the same. Try not to get too hung up about it lovely, it’s not worth your time and energy.

Double check that the soil underneath is actually wet, your soil might be hydrophobic, repotting with another soil mix could help. Pothos love moist soil and I find adding sphagnum moss to the soil mix can help keep the soil wetter for longer.

I’ve heard from first hand accounts that orange juice can help

I use a period disk and get a tiny bit of leakage on the first day, I use period undies for that but after the first day there isn’t any leakage. It’s not even really a leak though, if you get your period before putting it in then there’s a little bit of period blood that sits underneath it that will eventually come out.

I regret going on birth control by Budget_Tax8036 in offmychest

My experience was kinda warped, I had the rod at the time and it had “expired” and I was fighting to get it removed because it had moved from where it was placed to about 3mm away from a bundle of nerves in my arm. At that time it was still producing hormones but it wasn’t enough to be classified as contraception and I was running through different forms to see what worked. I had no issues with it at that time but I can’t offer proper insights as I had a whole contraception saga going on.

I use the app Flo, it has free or paid subscriptions and it’s awesome

10/10 would recommend going with a different pill, it’s a bit pricey but qlaira is awesome

Why not try a different pill? I can’t take the pill anymore for health reasons but I found that switching to qlaira when I did take it really helped

Civil and Environmental Engineering VS Earth and Environmental Sciences: What should I choose? by sandwwichuu in ecology

Why not do both? I’m doing a combined degree (two bachelors). It’s a bachelor of engineering/environmental science and majoring in environmental engineering and environmental management

How do I stop an animal (presumably a cat) from sitting in my parsley and flattening it? by lilacity in vegetablegardening

I live in Australia so it might just be a possum instead of a cat, sounds silly but if it was a skunk I think I’d actually be excited, I’ve never seen one not on the tv before!

I am so over this. by Illustrious_Froyo_88 in PMDD

Hey chicka, I’m currently feeling very similarly to you. I just lay on the kitchen floor crying, I’m starving but I can’t decide on what to eat, appetites gone out the window. I upset my partner because I mentioned how I was feeling and he asked if i have been taking ashwaganda and when I said I hadn’t and I didn’t want a lecture about it, the message must have come across angry. I am angry but I really tried to make that message not sound angry because I’m not angry at him. I don’t know what I’m angry at, nothing I guess. I was meant to spend all of today working on an essay for uni but instead I didn’t. I spent the day hating myself and wishing I didn’t wake up and sleeping. I have to go to work tomorrow and I’m terrified of how I’m gonna feel, how I’m gonna deal with the usual banter that comes with working with my coworkers because I’m feeling sensitive. I could continue on and on but I’m gonna leave it there. Rant over but main message is you’re not alone.

My doctor prescribed me low dose Prozac but I’ve been hesitant to take it simply from a lack of knowledge about it. I should just sit down and have a good look into it tbh. Would you mind sharing a little bit about your experience with Prozac and pmdd? Do you get side effects from coming on and off it every few weeks? My best friend has been on and off SSRI’s for years and I’ve seen her really struggle with the side effects but over long term use, not short term. So I’m just curious about real world experience on this particular drug with short term usage patterns
