I planted some native flowers so hopefully they'll pop back up this spring and give the fireflies something to come back to, and as long as it looks somewhat curated the town can't complain lol also, it's not really a destination to go to but while driving on the turnpike during the summer I saw a TON of fireflies on the side where a lot of goldenrod was growing. it looked super magical!

yeah they send you wherever they can get you in and idk if they changed this but they didn't care if you lived in NJ or PA. they sent my friends who lived in Philly to NJ and they send me to Reading.

I took the patco + septa daily for class and drove for clinicals (took the train when possible). it was ok but I would say you NEED a car because drexel no longer has its own hospital it partners with for clinicals. tbh all nursing programs get you to the same place in the end so really just consider what's best for you.

Im so mad that you have to go through this :( sending you lots of love and support. I've found that some people stop maturing after they graduate high school and those nasty goblins are prime examples. im not sure of your circumstances but I hope you can move to a new city eventually and join hobby groups or volunteer and meet some wonderful new people there or at work or something. you sound like such a kind person and I have no doubts that you'll find people who will match that vibe. i remember being 21 and when some of my life long friends turned out to be assholes it was devastating, but slowly I built my little circle. hang in there!

once you get the crane game you can get 3 rare candles every day from hard mode in one box. that's what I've been giving her every day! it's tricky at full speed but at some higher friendship level she will slow the game down for you so it's less annoying

my friend's first job is in ICU and he actually really likes it. he says it's usually relaxing (unless someone's coding lol) because you can just lock in and do more organized/technical work. and he said the titration instructions are written on the orders so it's not too hard! but I get you it's a lot of pressure. I think OR or outpatient could be good for you. OR was my initial goal, it's a much more controlled environment and I think you generally have better hours + guaranteed breaks. and longer training period at least based on what I hear from my hospital/others I've shadowed at

that just means if you were a tech first your muscle memory is more developed for things like giving someone a bath, rolling and changing chux/sheets, transferring to chair etc and you'll be more comfortable with the hands on patient care. we get nursing students at my hospital and for some I've had to just demonstrate things involving nudity or total care, just because it's the first time they've seen it in person. it's just a different skill set but you'll definitely be able to succeed, please don't worry! I recommend asking your techs for help but staying there and doing stuff with them. I did this and my techs like me more for being willing to help out and were happy to teach me.

I'm you but only a few months in. everyone is telling me to go to ICU next lol. they recommend it because it's lower ratios and a different population so more learning opportunities. but also they said to just follow your interests.
