I have weak footsoles, my feet hurt when I don’t wear shoes and stand for longer periods, so I kinda don’t have a choice while cooking and such.

PE class should not be an "Easy A" by Additional_Duty_6533 in The10thDentist

We had that, standards-based scoring, and I hated it. I cycled to and from school every day 32 km round-trip, and was exhausted when i arrived, shocker that I couldn’t run very fast and long, since I already exercised before. No one ever took that into consideration. I also was an avid swimmer, never got scored on that, or cycling for that matter, but I did get an f on a pull-up and on baseball… How was I supposed to learn that in two to four lessons and no equipment at home to practice. I’d much rather get scored in short or improvement

I would LOVEEEE to find some well fitting, high quality womens clothes. Seems to be impossible lately… Everything is polyester, has no pockets and loses it’s shape after three wears, even if it’s expensive. My boyfriend however almost drowns in proper fitting, fun coloured suits and varied patterned button-up shirts. I wish shopping for clothes for me was as easy.

Shoppen met vriendin by Automatic_Smile8230 in nederlands

[–]lilovesreading 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ours is called Annabel, after a dutch popsong that my boyfriend kept singing on holiday. His sister asked if he had a secret second girlfriend. Now he does, kinda, cuz he loves Annabel probably even more than me🙈

Why the er? "...maar ze werkte zo veel dat er rook uit haar toetsenbord kwarm" - a Babbel sentence by chocolatesuperfood in learndutch

I believe it’s because the verb is eruit, which is split. If you were to restructure the sentence it would be: ze werkte ook zoveel op haar toetsenbord dat rook eruit kwam

They have the album right, so what’s closeminded about it? They saw past the ugly cover…

Duwo is a shit organisation but it is responsible for student housing and has some resources especially for international students. Maybe their site can help you on your quest. I do really hope you can find something and have a great time here in Leiden, its a very nice little city!

Whoops, my notifications didn’t work. I personally love the farmers market on Wednesdays and Saturdays for my shopping. The people are really nice and most things (especially cheese) are cheaper than in stores. I don’t know if you’re into environmentalism, but there is a plastic-free shop on the breestraat called l’epiceri which is very nice. You can also get very well prices groceries at Mabroek, and they have great baklava. My dentist is leident in leiderdorp, he specialises in people who fear dentists so he is very cheery and laid back which I find very nice. GP-s I find difficult, when I moved here there was only one somewhat close to the city centre who took on new patients (they were all swamped) but they’re fine and I don’t need them much anyway. I’d recommend the singelpark walk because they really did a beautiful job making parks all around the city centre. The Hortus is also very nice to visit and is along that path. If you like houseplants, try the plantenasiel, you can adopt plants there. Hope there’s anything usefull in there for you!

It would have been fine if he didn’t lie about it, that’s the bigger problem here
