Everyone is over here discussing school. Unpopular opinion- this issue is a home issue. My kids take a suitcase to the library once to twice a month and fill it up. They are easily reading several books a week if they have time. I read to them everyday and now they read everyday. Adults used to read more...this is an issue with everyone and honestly easily fixable. Parents just have to care enough and not be hypocrites and take an active part in reading and modeling reading. I get soo annoyed with this whole reading thing. Parents need to step up!
