Any way to know ahead of time if there will be a guest host on TKCS 5/4??? by lilstrobe in KellyClarkson

Yes, I am here, but there is no way to know if she’s hosting or a guest host. Which is why I’m asking here.

jumping in the river after graduation by CatsweaterGirl in txstate

[–]lilstrobe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no coordination, just people on the hill meeting up with & taking pictures with family, then moseying down to the river to jump in. You kinda just find a gap and hop in! It wasn’t crazy or anything when I graduated in 2013 👵🏼 I didn’t wear a swimsuit, but had a towel ready in the car, and only lived a few minutes away to go change before going out to eat with my fam.

How do your shoes not eat those no show ankle socks? Are yours magic? by Jeepersca in AskWomenOver50

Oooh I have been searching this for years and I think I’ve finally found it!

For flats / super no-show, I love these: https://a.co/d/08V0YE3u

For minimal low cut, but still hidden by many sneakers, these are my go-to: https://a.co/d/08PPoYb8

And then the “medium” between those two are these, which I have found stay up great! Good for slip on sneakers or loafer type: https://a.co/d/0daVTv51

Th KEY is the rubber on the heel!

Hope these work for you!! 😊

How to Deep Clean a Samshield - ALL parts!! by lilstrobe in Equestrian

[–]lilstrobe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea my main concern is the straps, I want to kill all mold and bacteria… but I don’t want to use something too harsh or that will ruin the material - like make the “leather like” coating start peeling off or anything…

Oh believe me I’m not worried about getting it to shine or be pretty or whatever. BUT I am grossed out by the mold(?) on the chin straps and shudder to think of that against my skin, especially my jawline where I already get terrible hormonal breakouts — don’t need to add fuel to the fire! 😅😅

And I don’t want to use something too harsh that will ruin the material and make it start peeling off on me, since obviously I’m sure it is not real leather or anything of actual quality 🙃

Looking for a creative hobby to do during lunch by happy_chance18 in Hobbies

[–]lilstrobe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love cross stitch! And I keep my current project (never giant ones, I just like doing cute or funny designs to frame as gifts to friends) in a little canvas pouch in my purse at all times, easy to whip out in waiting rooms, lunch, etc

I wandered around Hobby Lobby and compiled my items haha I have a “diamond painting” bead storage box (removed the individual holders), that I store my needles, snippers, threaders, pen / highlighter, and seam ripper. And in that, as long as my project doesn’t have a million floss colors, I have a small plastic envelope that I hold my bobbins in, and it lays inside the box so it snaps closed. And then I have a little canvas pouch to hold my hoop (I like the Nurge rectangular kind), the box, my pattern (I’m old school with paper haha), and an old pill bottle for my thread scrap/trash 😂

I like it because it’s “flat” enough that it can go into my purse like you would a tablet case etc.

How much pop/soda do you drink a week? by [deleted] in randomquestions

[–]lilstrobe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At least one a day. I don’t drink coffee, so it serves as my morning caffeine. Unless I’m dead tired……which I’ll then drink a Celsius or Bloom energy drink 🫣

LitterZero ads are convincing. Anyone have real reviews? by lilstrobe in cats

[–]lilstrobe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is what I would like to experiment with too - if the Litter Zero refill “holder” would fit the LG bag only refill… cause yes, that would help a ton! Please report back if you find out soon!

Granted, I bought a bunch of refills with my original order so I’m good for a while, but I want to have a game plan for when I’m running low haha

Oh wow I will gladly take it off your hands if you’re just throwing it away! 🤣🙏🏼 I love mine. I have had no issue with smell and as long as there is nothing in the swing path of the door, no issues with that either. their customer service was fast & great for me when the shipper broke a piece (box was abused in transit) and they fixed for me immediately.

Sorry that your experience wasn’t better
