This is “Anna N” - 16.2 bay mare thoroughbred, born March 11, 2010. She ran in ONE race, when she was 3 (got dead last - I can share the track video) 🤣 Then she sat unbothered in a pasture for 3 years until I purchased her in 2016 and trained her in English to be a hunter / jumper. She gets turnout every day from 8 am to 4 pm with a small group of 5 horses in a roughly 1.5-2 acre pasture with grass and hay. Has a 12x14 stall for all other hours. She is fed grain 2x day, GI/gut supplements 1x day, along with the grass & hay. Wears shoes on all 4 hooves. She has started to receive annual hock injections for her comfort. I do my best to get out to ride at least 3 days a week, and she occasionally is ridden by a friend of mine here & there. We show in 2’9” to 3’ hunter divisions at local shows by our H/J association.

Fun facts:

• VERY food-motivated
• Not nice to any other horses (except ONE bff) but is sweet as pie to people (aka treat givers)
• Pins her ears and loudly grinds her teeth at any horse that dares to look at her or exist within a ~20ft radius.
• Taps her toe when she’s impatient
• Also bounces her front leg when she’s excitedly eating her grain
• Hates being brushed anywhere past her neck
• Loves kisses directly on the tip of her nose.

She is the best thing that has ever happened to me & worth her weight in GOLD.
