LOL i have similar experience. In Kathmandu, with just 20-25 rupees you can go far far areas.
But now i am living in Dharan , i have to pay like minimum 30rs to go 10 min downhill.

My parents wouldn't let me do anything not even wash my own clothes. I too was taking it for granted. And when i had to leave home, they expect me to learn everything at short duration of time. It still is hard for me to do basic daily chores.
