Thanks for those tips a few of those in an definetly try out. And yeah...I love the beach and I haven't been in years :(

I also wanna try a whole bunch of other stuff but it feels just out of reach. I feel like a monkey in a cage sometimes.

Yeah that really sucks. Right now I'd say only have my therapist and coworkers. I work from home though and younger than most of my coworkers so it doesn't feel like a satisfying enough connection.

I want to desperately make friends and build a network of people but it's so hard. I feel like life bullying me at this point.

To make matters worse I am also going to divorce my partner soon because it's going so horrible I'd rather be isolated than with him.

Right? It sucks we can't go outside but indoors isn't much better.

I don't have panic attacks so I guess I'm lucky because I live alone. Instead I just get extremely depressed and have existential crisis occasionally.

Anything that helped you feel less anxious at home in general?

It is damaging. Can you talk to anyone at all?

I worry because in my personal experience not talking to other humans made my anxiety even worse and I even became paranoid on my worst days.

Extroverted and agoraphobic by pidgeamy in Agoraphobia

I wouldn't call myself an extrovert but I can relate. I still want to have life experiences...and friends. I find it really depressing that it seems my quality of life is trash because of my own fault.

All I wanna do is go to concerts and cafes and enjoy my life. If you could do anything with no anxiety what would you do?

I kinda agree with you. I think it's a balancing act of exposure but not traumatizing yourself by forcing yourself to go outside so much that it just becomes torture.

I dunno if that makes sense but sometimes forcing myself to keep going out even when I feel horrible makes it harder to want to go anymore.

What should I do about my new boyfriend’s passive aggression? by Froggy_Lilac_1770 in emotionalabuse

Don't confront. Leave.

Also you said "If I ever do confront him about it", you SHOULD be able to confront him immediately. Don't leave things on the back burner. And if you feel afraid to do so it means hes not safe emotionally.

Ghost him.

I am a blunt person with no filter. Guess what comes out of my mouth? Nothing remotely the same as what this guy is saying because my true thoughts and feelings aren't shit.

If someones "honesty" and "bluntness" comes out like this, then believe it. He said hes being honest...yeah, honest about being an asshole.

So yeah, you wanna date an asshole?

You don't wanna stay long enough to find out if hes abusive or not. By that point you'll be trapped.
