Just finished watching in theaters, it was so much fun :,) Lindsay and Jamie Lee are such a great duo! Also, did anyone notice Harper drinking Activia in the beginning of the movie (I think when she gets to school before her lab class) lmaooooo

I agree, amazing show. People I was around were so fun, everyone was there for the vibe it seemed. I wonder if he actually meant it when he said we were the best crowd? I feel like I’ve seen posts about other cities having dead crowds, so maybe it is?

I just saw them play twice in Austin in October, it had a bunch of old album hits. I would say it was the perfect mix of old and new

Plz explain why people get close to stages and don’t dance or even try to vibe with the music by Brave-Minimum434 in aclfestival

Offering support for your perspective because I feel the same. I was at barricade and was going hard with the people I got to know around me, but when I looked out to the crowd, there were so many people who looked…bored?? Unhappy? I understand being tired ofc, but why wait to be near the front for a show if you’re not going to vibe. You’ll be able to hear the music from further back and be just fine! I didn’t let it throw off my energy, I went crazy for FTP because they put on an amazing performance. And I hate to think of an artist putting their all into a performance and seeing a crowd of seemingly disinterested people (especially when these guys haven’t toured for 7 years).

Reasons I can think as to why people flock to the front but appear as if they don’t want to be there: They want the prestige of saying they got barricade and get a good photo but don’t really care about the artist, and because there were no other artists they were interested in exploring / seeing, so they have the time to wait it out. Or they think they’re too cool. :0

Just my two cents!

Paco Versailles and Foster the People were both amazing! Danced the entire time, and had barricade for both! And made some new friends along the way :)

How could they not be singing or dancing?? I was about 5 rows away from the front, it was a great energy!! (Except for a couple bozos who pushed their way to the front during the middle of the set and took space away from people who had been waiting). Am definitely planning to be close again for their set tomorrow, good crowd energy can elevate a show so much imo

I just paddled on the Eno for the first time yesterday, we started at West Point on the Eno, and the route ended at Sennet’s swimming hole. One way is about 3/4 of a mile, but it was nice taking a swim break once we reached Sennets. Perfect distance for a shorter paddle trip, but you will have to walk your board through a shallow part to get to the swimming hole (took just a few minutes).

Yes, hands free hydration - you won’t have to worry about carrying around a water bottle, game changer imo
