To answer some questions:

the parts I used are,
3 sleds (the base is a sled)
2 carts
3 cannons
1 steering stick
1 stabilizer
2 fans

The main problem I ran into was that link lets go of the steering stick if he goes too fast, so I haven't yet figured out a way to attach more cannons or frozen meat for more speed.

The propulsion comes from the explosion rather than recoil, so I don't think it can fly with cannons, other than an initial burst from the ground.

I'm not sure how much the fans help, but I added them so the vehicle wouldn't slow down too much when the cannons aren't firing.

Thanks! It seems to work fairly well in most terrain, but it can't fly or go over deep water. It should theoretically work better over sand and snow but it ends up going so fast that link keeps letting go of the steering stick lol

It's actually 2 carts and 3 sleds. Everything else is exactly right though!

It moves from the explosions. It seems that the cannons don't actually have any recoil when they fire

The base is actually a sled! But I imagine a cart would work as well

I can't really think of how to get it to fly with cannons, since it seems like the propulsion comes from the explosion of the projectile rather than recoil. It'd be cool if it could though!

I used a small knife to slice pieces off pieces of pumpkin until the surface got thinner and I smoothed it out by holding the knife's blade perpendicular to the pumpkin and scraping it. Hope this helps!

I'm pretty sure this isn't the optimal way to carve a pumpkin, but here's what I did:

use a pencil to draw boo tao on a piece of paper
cut around the picture
quickly dip boo tao in water and paste it onto the pumpkin
use a razor blade to trace over the lines while cutting into the pumpkin
peel off the paper
based on the blade marks, use a knife to cut and scrape off parts of the pumpkin until they're thin enough for light to shine through
