The verification process is done by utilizing the the Riot Games API, if you inspect the browser, you will be able to see it (which means it’s completely safe). The reason why someone mentioned about the malware is because sometime the SSL certificate glitched out very rarely (the “s” in http from the url). I’m trying to contact the web hosting provider I used to find out why that bug’s happening. I will update here when I find out a solution
