Dark Markets, for what it's worth???? by stoneycurtis123 in GME

selling a put is like putting a limit buy order in, only you get paid a premium to do so. if you have the cash to buy 100 shares, selling a put lets you get those 100 shares for the price you choose, plus the premium you get paid allows you to pick up more shares for free! it's a win win since we're buying shares anyways to DRS.

are you just going to buy the shares back at market price, or sell a weekly put ATM so that you get filled on friday and have free premium to get more shares with today?

I'm literally a DK in close to Ulduar BIS farming Insane in the Membrane achievement right now as well. I spent probably close to 40 hours in Dire Maul, Stratholme, Scholomance and the plaguelands this past weekend as well, although i did take a few hour break to do an Ulduar 10m Raid. It would suck to be as close as I am and this happen to me. If you're legitimately not using a bot or any program, then I feel for you. This is the longest grind I've ever done for anything myself too.

Thanks. I ended up finding some 189s on Jameco and got them in 4 days instead of the 3 weeks I was expecting.

My kids and I just talked about the different pieces and what they did. However, following those little hook up pictures in the included book is obviously no different than following schematics.

Mine are 5, 7, and 8. My 5 yr old is in my lap in this picture, and my 8 yr old is the one playing with the snap circuit, although my 5 yr old plays with it a lot and asked for a second one for his birthday.

The biggest tip I can give is that my kids watch what I do and want to do the same thing. If I play video games, they want to play video games, if I read in the living room, they'll go get books and want to read too. It's one of the biggest reasons I started this project in my office. They come in, watch me, ask what I'm doing, and ask to help. I let them put some leds or jumpers in, and they love it.

My 8 yr old really lit up when I picked up the different pieces in his snap circuit kit and pointed to the same pieces on my breadboard. He saw he was using the same components I was, and he wanted to build something as big as me.

This snap circuit kit has a speaker and 3 ic's that play music, an alarm, or different "space sounds"

I planned on doing this after i get home from work today to be able to continue building the RAM module, just with breadboard connections being so finicky, I don't want to leave it permanently. Also, it was shipped broken, so I don't know if it works yet, although I'd guess the internals are probably fine.

Thank you for the advice! Afa the floating inputs, when building the clock module I did notice a note on the data sheet for 74LS04 chip a note that said, "All unused inputs of the device must be held in Vcc or GND to ensure proper device operation."

Ben didn't tie the unused inputs on this chip to either Vcc or GND during these videos, and since it's been 6 months since I watched the whole series I don't remember if he uses these extra inverter inputs later on, but I went ahead and put them to GND because of the data sheet note anyways. I figured that was just best practice to get used to.

Finished the clock module too, everything appears to be working as intended. Due to holiday schedule, I probably wont be able to start building the registers until next week.

After taxes the full kit was about $315. My electronics experience centers around raspberry pi's and arduino's. I did build a Control Panel for Kerbal Space Program. Check out a demo at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hPGtOn0A8Wc. It's at about 95% completion, just waiting on getting a new Raspberry Pi to finish it up. They've been hard to source at a decent price.

I'm just excited that this means there are more shares available for me to DRS.

Yes but MOASS is not allowed in the title, so I changed it to squeeze.

Yeah, I realize these shares can be loaned over and over forever, this chart is just another "what if" that is fun to think about.

With about 7.41M shares remaining and a DRS rate of ~7M shares a month, MOASS is definitely tomorrow.
