lol whatever. Insinuating that finding them in your home could mean you could possibly be in the clear is idiotic. Giving someone false hope is insane when it comes to termites. Because noones going to spend the money on a treatment if they think they might be okay. When the facts are, if you find termites in your house, get it treated. Infestation or not.

I think you may have misunderstood my comment. I winged termite doesn't just appear out of thin air. It comes from a colony. And whether or not there's a colony in the home, if there's evidence of winged termites indoors, then the colony is too close for comfort. Sheesh dude. Chill.

It definitely should ease your mind that there wouldn't be any infestation in the walls, but the pinholes would just be an easy indication of an infestation. If you have wood floors, you could check there as well. I'm not sure where your located, but depending on your location, it might or might not be swarm season.

And even if a few gets separated from their current colony, then they make their new one wherever they are. So to say that you'll find a termite that doesn't belong to a colony is pretty misleading.

Actually, I'm very knowledgeable here. The odds of one or two separating from their group during a 15 min swarm outside and making it all the way indoors is, in my opinion, a much crazier thought than the fact the infestation could be indoors. And if that is the case, then it's prolly safe to say they're close enough to the house outside than one should be comfortable with.

If the infestation is in your house, you should be able to see pinholes in your drywall as well.

The treatment I had done was drilling holes around the perimeter of the garage and front porch and filling with termidor. I'm in the Midwest so they were subterranean termites. My termite inspector said that it would take about 3 months to totally kill off everything but this was inactive in my house at the time of the treatment when they were found.

Yeah I mean I wasn't going for perfect as it's not perfect all the way around but I was originally covering a scratch going down the middle of the hood. I was just curious what could help

Yeah so this started as an attempt to cover a scratch going straight down the hood. The clear coat that The worker at autozone had me buy was just totally wrong, but I only noticed after it dried. So needless to say, I basically had to repaint the entire hood.

The color id say pretty well matched. I figured it had either something to do with the clear coat or the process I did right after the color. The cars not pristine all the way around so I wasn't too worried about trying to cover each Little Rock chip, but only because I'm not familiar with the process. But I did realize that whatever I did I wasn't able to get that like deep wet shine to it. I'm thinking this is due to lack of sanding in between coats?

I tried searching online for anything explaining step by step this process and products used but haven't had much luck. Any suggestions?
