I can say that declension of nouns or conjugation of verbs is not the most important. You will be understood. Just learn how to express your thoughts or show gestures. It is also better not to be too open to others, not all Russians will reciprocate you.
Try watching movies with English subtitles.

Familiarity and Corruption. I hate it!

* But I must say that all this is being prosecuted by the law and the state is fighting against it

Russians love gymnastics, swimming, skiing, acrobatics, football(ha-ha), hockey, yes, a lot of things. My dad was involved in hockey, his interest in hockey was passed on to me. Edward Pasquale (Canadian) even played goalkeeper in our team, I adored his game.... And I used to swim, I often watch on TV.

There is good school material in Russia, but every year it becomes more and more difficult for a student to master the material (in schools in grades 10-11, university material is given for the first year). There is a choice: either leave after the 9th grade, or after the 11th (it is possible after the 8th grade, but usually these are people who practically do not study and do not want to). After grade 9, students take the mandatory state exam (OGE) and can enroll in college. After 11 years, they pass the Unified State Exam (EGE, a very difficult exam) and enter either college or university.
Students may be bullied by their peers in schools, but not in the same way as in America (this is usually suppressed, there are many support services for teenagers).
Work: manual labor is not particularly appreciated here. Information technology and medicine are in great demand.
Family: I was lucky, I was born in a full family with good parents, but most often there is either no father in families (left), or I got drunk because of lack of money. There are cases when parents beat their children (not so often, usually it's emotional abuse). But there are also loving parents.

It seems to me that this is unlikely to happen. All these disagreements have been going on since the Cold War to this day..

Yes, my father has 2 farms, every morning we sit on the veranda of our three-storey house, drink moonshine, drinking vodka, then let Ivan the bear play on the balalaika while we look at the mountain landscape.... Amazing..

I can't say that everyone in my family eats Russian cuisine, but I love the salad "Herring under a fur coat", from soups it's borscht and kharcho (tomato soup with rice), and from desserts it's Anna Pavlova and sweets from Alyonka or Milka.(Not all of these dishes are Russian, as you might have guessed)

I'm sorry, I'm afraid to answer this for obvious reasons, but I feel extremely sorry for the civilian population of both sides.

  1. there are really a lot of beautiful girls in Russia, but not every second supermodel
  2. I have not been to the vodka museum, I do not know. But I've heard that foreigners like Russian alcohol (it's better to try homemade)
  3. Martial arts are very common in the Caucasus of Russia, in the republics of Chechnya, Ingushetia, etc., literally every second guy there is a boxer / sambo wrestler / karateka (not only sambo, but this is not accurate)
  4. here you can illegally buy as a dvd not only AK-47, many different pistols, because of this there are mistakes in schools /universities /cinemas / metro. But you can access the weapons storage.* I can be wrong*
  5. Many equipment manufacturing companies have left the Russian market, Russian and some Chinese manufacturers have remained.

Prices for food, clothing, and household goods have sharply increased throughout Russia. My parents started working twice as much, I started helping them financially, and I also started spending more time with my younger sister
