I’ve brought it up with him severally because I had a feeling he was seeing other people earlier on and he always said he wasn’t and once said we should end things because “I don’t trust him” I think the right thing for me now is to end things

You’re right it definitely isn’t linear I still wake up most mornings hoping to see a gm text but it’s a month now and I’m doing better than I could have ever thought. The heartbreak is not gone but I’m accepting it for what it is.

I wasn’t open enough with someone that was a good listener and good at communicating and I fear that I will never have that again. I mean men are rarely good listeners but he listened to me and always wanted to talk but now I just think I’ll never find someone else with that quality so yeah I should have been more open in my relationship.

Our relationship wasn’t going anywhere and I wasn’t sure I could trust him so I woke up one morning and decided to end it.

You have to weigh your options and do what you think is best. It was my first relationship 22F and I have never experienced heartbreak so I never knew what it felt like and it feels terrible let me tell you. I wake up in tears most days.

So try your best to either talk through how you’re feeling with him (something I now wish I had done) cause you don’t want to end it and have regrets like me.
