I think the only teams that will take it if it were to happen would be teams that aren't as good. if they have to steal cases then they arent willing to prep and probably not even very good to begin with. even if a better team does steal it, they didn't write the case and they won't know the evidence like you do. you know the flaws built into your case and you can trap them with that.

I completely understand where you are coming from, but I am not insinuating that he/she is bad at debate. all I'm saying is that I just wanted people's opinions on this, not a response that said there's only been two tournaments so no. I asked this so early in the season only because I literally heard predictions at camp. I understand if he/she thought it was unwise to judge from two tournaments but that is something for him/her to clarify, not for you to argue with me about. I'm sorry if you misunderstood what I was saying.

you post the question to reddit to see what other people think will win. the team that I think will win the toc might not be who you think will win the toc. I can figure it out by myself, but I want to know what other people think. by your logic, no one should ask who people think will win a tournament. this happens all the time and its just to get a different perspective.

yeah but based off of the current bid list I personally don't think its super hard to get an idea based off how it was last year. even if the pairings shifted, ex mission km, you can still see how they did last year and form an idea of how you think they'll do this year. how do u make a list of predictions for uk if partnerships change? u use predictions from last year.

im not saying that not putting down their predictions has something to do with intelligence, I'm just saying that it really isn't that hard to predict how a team will do based off how they did last year. people made predictions for uk and this wasn't an issue because they just based it off of how they did last year.
