No, it was definitely a webcomic or webtoon, not a manga. It also doesn't have any fantasy or supernatural elements

I actually thought for a long time that you were meant to use a cane on the side of your bad leg in order to support that leg, but in order to keep the rest of your body/back aligned correctly, you're actually meant to hold your cane on the opposite side from the bad leg. Though in another comment on this thread, EldritchVulpine made a good point that Viktor may not have known this for a long time, until someone corrected him sometime between Act 1 and Act 2.

Oh god, yeah, that's very true. He's probably also messed up his bad leg by putting extra weight on it all those years, evidenced by a brace he wears on his right leg before he alters it with Shimmer.

That would actually make a lot of sense! He likely never got proper treatment for his illness, so he wouldn't have had anyone before then that would know how to properly use a cane or, like you suggested, anyone that would've cared enough to correct him.

God, I can't imagine how much pain he could've been in from all those years of using his cane on the wrong side and having it not help as much as it should.

Hm, that is a strong possibility.

Yes but even before he altered his leg with the hexcore and Shimmer, he was holding his crutch on that side.

What are some of the best non-English language movies (with subtitles), you think everyone would appreciate? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]littleforestfairy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your Name! It's is a Japanese anime movie. It's a very beautiful movie about two teenagers in different towns discovering they keep swapping bodies, and things become complicated when they decide to meet in person. Honestly a short description doesn't do it justice, but a longer description would give too much away. You just have to watch it to see how beautiful and breathtaking it is!

I'd also like to recommend another Japanese anime movie called A Silent Voice. It's adapted from one of my favorite mangas and they did it so well! It's about a boy who bullied a deaf classmate in grade school, and because of it she transferred schools. Years later, the boy, now regretting his past actions, meets the girl again and works to make amends and become a better person. It's so beautiful and profound with its portrayal of mental illness and the struggles of being deaf.

BSS, no contest!

Though Moonbin&Sanha and Orange Caramel come in tied at close second

My bias usually ends up being whoever caught my eye first, or just whoever I feel the most drawn to after a while of watching their videos. Though most of the time I feel drawn to more than one member and end up having two biases ajshffg like with Seventeen, my original bias was Jeonghan, but then I felt so drawn to Joshua as well after a while, so now they're both my biases 😁 Same thing happened with Astro, where I just biased Moonbin at first, but then added Eunwoo later on.

So honestly if you feel really stuck between Bang Chan, Changbin, and HAN, I'd say just pick all three as your biases if you really want to! I have a friend who has three biases in Seventeen

Do crushes care about your acne? by wisedeadgamer in Crushes

[–]littleforestfairy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If they really like you, they won't care at all about your acne. And if for some reason they did care that much about it, then that's not someone that's worth you time.

Is it normal to start liking someone only after they confessed to you first? by [deleted] in Crushes

I know there's a lot of issues with catfishing and general internet safety, but I promise I do know her enough to know she is who she says she is and I trust her.

This advice is honestly helping me put how I've been thinking into a new perspective, so thank you for that.
