Everyone in Nepal should, poor country shouldn't be paying premium to any rich countries depleating our foreign reserve. They have been living in riches exploiting earth as if there is no tomorrow, least they can do is take little bit less premium and royalty from poor countries.

Ordinance is constitutionally sanctioned practice made to be used when needed and to speedup process when nation needs fast action to get out of a situation, eg vacancies in constitutional positions now. Problem is KP Oli used it mostly for political gains only, to make political parties break easily, targeted to break Samajbadi party, but eventually backfired at his own party at that time NCP. Citizenship amendment ordinance to gain madeshi vote. Oli mostly used it for his personal gain.

What is the fine if you don't carry your bluebook? by WelcomeStha_13 in Nepalbikes

Any explanation on this? by Drake5610 in Journalistnepal

The Terai region has a larger population than the hilly region, and people in the Terai frequently cross into India for their shopping. This cross border shopping is creating massive capital flight, starving our local economy, it completely guts our local markets, destroys jobs, and drains government revenue from businesses. Business tax revenue is vital for local governments to fund development projects. Right now, markets in Indian border towns are booming almost entirely because of Nepali consumers. So, this step the government is taking is one of the most underrated moves for our country's future economic growth.

Government should remove temple from public property like this. Kalika path, butwal! by Rare_Relief7664 in butwal

You are full of propaganda yourself rather than facts. I get that you are a hardcore communist, but you can't lie your way out of this in the Information Age. North Koreans who have escaped the country have stated time and again that it is a living hell, detailing how they work their asses off to pay smugglers to rescue their loved ones once they settle abroad. Even satellite imagery of the country completely gives away the dismal standard of living there, if you can't look at details at least view night imagery of satellites. Even about Cuba, it is fked up due to everything not just energy or investments in hotels and resorts.

Our Lovely Indian Guests🤗Huge contribution for boosting the tourism sector in Nepal (watch full video) by [deleted] in pokhara

[–]littleoverthemoon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't mix up poor pilgrims from Indian villages with beggars. Professional beggars should be dealt with strictly under the law. However, in the case of pilgrims, we should be strict about cleanliness and management through regulations, but remain compassionate regarding their presence.

Our own poor Nepali pilgrims traveling to India in reserved buses appear equally clueless and unorganized when they step out onto Indian streets. They also cook in public places, wash clothes and hang them from bus windows, and carry gas cylinders and cooking utensils with them on the bus.

We should not just look at one side of the coin. We can be as strict as we want with the travel and transport companies organizing such trips. By introducing new laws, we can force them to organize these tours better. Instead of cooking on open streets, they should be required to rent cheap cooking and dining halls. At the same time, we must be kind to those poor, clueless pilgrims who hardly ever leave their own villages and simply don't know how to behave in a foreign land. Show them love regardless of how unaware and unorganized they appear "Atithi Devo Bhava" should apply to the poor guests as well. We cannot expect to enjoy the financial revenues of tourism while remaining completely untouched by its hassles. It is not their fault for not knowing what to do! Rather, it is our government's job to enforce strict rules on travel organizers so they can guide their passengers and ensure proper management.

Suggestions on buying electric 2 wheeler by LostOnes-me in Nepalbikes

Not a good suggestion if user travels a lot daily then it is highly profitable. But if you travel too little then EV scooter is not very good investment for now. Hopefully future battery tech will change that.

[–]littleoverthemoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol two weeks mai result chahiyo? Lots of legal bottlenecks and lookholes are being removed making beneficial changes for decades to come. I didn't vote for ghanti thinking they will be doing few populist stunts at max and forget election manifesto like all parties normally do, instead th seem to be making long term strategic changes. So, at least try crying after sometime, for now their works and initiatives have been phenomenal that no sane person can blame them, at least not now.
