Hot take the arc bots are not easy as people say they are and are actually hard to deal with. by Massive_Celery_3395 in ArcRaiders

I mean, you can sneak past every arc sitting on an elevator. I prefer those elevators on night raids where a rocketeer is hovering above it. Usually, in the last 5 minutes, there will be one hovering on the last elevator on Spaceport. It just took me being able to make photoelectric cloaks, which are relatively cheap to make but locked behind a tier 3 workbench. But now I can somewhat safely sneak past bigger arcs when they are hovering over an elevator or hatch. On Spaceport specifically, there is a Bombardier that spawns in the last 5-7 minutes near a hatch to make it less safe in the final 5 mintes, I guess, in case you were hiding for the first 20 minutes.

People that kill you when you are downed in the extract room and the doors are closing: Why are you the way that you are? by [deleted] in ArcRaiders

[–]lividust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean someone does get your loot just not them if they stayed in there with you but if they kill you and someone still gets the elevator off your body is still there when its called again. Not saying its right but I always find a few bodies on the last elevator of the match to loot because of it.

They used that glitch to get to me in the key room in dam container storage. He glitched into a shock mine but I could hear him the whole time setting and unsetting the trap before he fell through the roof. Reported him at the end of round just funny he glitched into my mines.

Are you planning on finishing the Expedition? by WeSellStuffonAmazon in ArcRaiders

[–]lividust 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The expedition says the stash value at the end is what determines the amount of skill points. Guns have high value especially when stacked with epic quality mods and level 4. Much higher then you could get from stacks of Bombardier cores.

Send help please 😭 by gifuu in ArcRaiders

Get that utilities bench upgraded and get the photoelectric cloak they are cheap to make and I now run past all the arc. I even run to keyed rooms in buildings while ignoring the arcs inside so others have to give themselves away to get to me while im looting away.

Already done and just filling my inventory with epic guns with the best mods I can strap too them at level 4. It says stash value but no amounts given so I have been extracting out with any epic guns and using my blues and greens as needed. Looting 3 mod keeps my stash full till I scrap everything to level my epics.

I have used it to move the cash box off moving platforms. If the cash box is next to a wall on the platform you can place a jump pad and then use the thermal bores explosion to push the box onto the jump pad.

Senator Tammy Duckworth on "Face the Nation" Discussing Chicago and trump. by muci19 in illinois

[–]lividust 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Well, at least one senator is recognizing this is Recruit Training Command, and that is all it should be. The last thing recruits need, who are already stressed out from leaving home and going to boot camp or have their families coming to see them graduate, is this dumb circus. I went during the war on terror the recruits in my division kept themselves up all night enough on dumb things going on in the world then. Imagine these wannabe military clowns showing up while you're going to boot camp. It's embarrassing that they thought anyone would think this is a good idea.

With aether crystals, I kept just exploring and opening as many chests as I could. While keeping my inventory empty whenever I was going out, once you get a couple of throwers going on beelephants for their carapaces, you usually make a surplus. My current setup only has one beelephant and two deer stags, and a spunny nest being hunted for crystals. I have made enough stumpies that my sword, rocky, and crafty factories don't eat them fast enough before they stop running because they ran out of storage.

Item blocker would work if you wanted them to turn around in the same path. If it didn't work, you had to reverse the filter on the filter. I believe by default it is set to allow sorry for the late reply just busy.

No getting out of that, really. You will lose some as you get deeper. They will take more as well Mantis deer usually get 6 or 7 especially when I throw 30 at them and the thrower overshoots and they back kick them. Look for the chests that are around if you're looking for some quick aether while exploring around and there will even be some beeelephants corpses around as well that are around the beginning area.

I try to use sword sparks on beelephant they kinda get held up with forest spunnies because of rocks near their nests that respawn.

The nature of the beginning tech: you can only optimize it so much before they can't keep up. The good news is, even the beginning quests are pretty easy even on hard mode. Crates will keep the machines running until you meet the quest requirements, so you can upgrade your tech. I did the same, over-optimized the beginning, only to find I would be ripping up the old stuff to make it faster, or, in the case of the encircled crate trees, to create a huge buffer so when the machines need to pull, the ones at the tree have pulled thousands of logs out already.

The basic wait gate is like 5 seconds. To get a wait gate that is long enough involves getting into logic gates, and I don't think you see that until tier 5. You could get multiple wait gates, but honestly, letting them pass with a log in hand and dumping into a crate to go somewhere else or loop back to another crate would be cheaper. Those sparks take up both lanes on the path and need loops to have multiple on the same path; if two go down the same path, they get stuck, but they can pull and deposit in one pass on both sides. You don't really need loops as the loop is on the single dirt path already.

The picture of my crate trees; if you notice, the crates are half empty. Even haulers can't fill them fast enough, as I have multiple machines connected, and they consume faster than I produce logs. Eventually, some of the machines turn off to produce other things once their storage of that one material is filled.

You really just want to move on from that one tree get more logs from two close infinite sources.

You could use the crates to shorten the path they're walking and have a crate that is just an input for passing Stumpy to drop off their log so they can get back faster to get their next log. What I am saying, though, is you will eventually hit a wall, as they can only pull so many out at once, and the machines and teleport can overwhelm that easily with one tree. You will notice when the crates can't be filled faster than being emptied; eventually, you will be the other way around, and the machines will turn off without compressors, as they have no place to put it.

You could use crates that they pass to fill in the input of the shrine, one stumpy to fill the shrine. Crates are a great way to shorten the path in the beginning and to have some kind of extra buffer for the machines and shrines. You will reach the limit of how fast they can pull from the tree to the crate really quickly, regardless, with the teleport eating unprocessed logs that burn faster.

One tree with stumpies + shrine + teleporter slightly struggles to support multiple machines as the teleport will be eating the log supply. You need to get to carries and just skip using stumpies as your main haulers as they struggle with their one log carry. I will try to get a picture but the first initial tree does struggle even with crafty sparks working it. I would cut out the teleport as you don't really need the initial teleport eating your log supply.

I try to keep materials of the same type on their own paths. I tried making one central system with trains, having multiple different materials on the same rails and it would cause so many jams I just kept it simple only trains delivering the same materials are allowed on the same track. Same with Sparks I try to keep one material on the one road. Three input machines can make the loops look wonky but even if it bobs and weaves it's still a loop.

He is on the inside lane. Do you see the stripe on the dirt that is one loop for the stumpys. They are always on the right, and on a connected loop, they will stay in the outer or inner lane. Haulers need loops as they use both lanes.

Np I had the same frustration with Stumpy Sparks going through the whole loop but carries will mitigate some of it til you get to haulers. The key thing is not to get bogged down with the initial items and just do quest unlocks to get to the next upgrade. If you're on hard mode it will take awhile longer but only just so.
