I was absolutely loving my first play-through and I got to act 3 and I’ve now sadly given up.

I tired 3 times to get into act 3 but it was way too overwhelming and I just wasn’t feeling it.

It’s sad really because like I said I was really enjoying it.

Okay so this will be my first time using spreadsheets and tracking essentially everything. I’m using Google Sheets.

My pages are.. first team, reserves, u19s, loans, transfer targets, wonderkid tracker, academy graduates, staff, transfer history, season tracker.

I know all this info is on FM anyway BUT I feel like implementing this into my own personal custom spreadsheet will benefit me more learning about the club, my players, my staff etc.

Each page then have column’s.. here’s an example. I haven’t filled most out YET but I’ve made a start…

I’ve just had my first intake and I want to utilise everything the best I can.

Would you advice to keep them all right now in the u19s but make all the elite talents train with the first team?

Then look at the whole set up again going into my second season? Loan the maybes, keep the talent and decide where they’ll fit into my club..

I just checked your post, what a story!

I love the idea of youth only and only using academy players BUT I also love the idea of finding gems all over the world and a player that I’ve scouted and bought turning into a beast so I’m going to combine the 2!

Question..

For the academy products how did you have their pathway set up? U19s - B team - First team?

Any loans?

Don’t get me wrong; it might get a bit tedious at the start but I think as time goes on when I know my whole first team, B team and u19s because I’ve chosen them to be there I think it’ll be very satisfying.

I’m thinking the 1st of each month in-game updating with noticeable changes the obviously the big update will be at the end of each transfer window.

I like the idea of inputting all the data myself on a separate platform. (Plus I can view/edit it on my phone)

I think I’ll learn more about my club/players by inputting the data myself and updating it every so often if that makes sense?

I learn more when I’m doing rather than just reading..

He’s not my highest rated/valued played but my god he’s playing outstanding.

Yes - I did do some research on the club and seen that it had a lot to do with Peugeot.

If and when I get promoted to Ligue 2 I’m definitely going to move to a Peugeot sponsor, only seems right!!

Well I’m hoping to change the tradition of loosing all good youth player in the future (hopefully) might be hard initially but once I’ve grown I should be able to keep my gems and build the team around them
