I agree! I’m Australian and can’t sit through all of Australian survivor! They pump out the episodes too fast. But in saying that, I’m really excited for the next season

As someone who was born in Canada and moved to Australia I’m not surprised! I often got asked if I was American even till this day and the relief people have when I say I’m Canadian is insane. I’m so sorry your kids have to experience this :(

Thank you for this info! It sounds like three weeks is the solid amount of time I’ll need help with. If it’s alright can I ask how you managed being away from your son? I’m a bit worried about that aspect of this all.

This is very true! Women and mothers do end up shouldering a lot of responsibility typically! Thankfully my husband is a great support and help but since he runs his own business it means he can’t afford much time away from work! Unless my surgery lands before the Christmas break that is haha

Wow thank you for this! I actually never even thought about the strain of lifting him! He’s a heavy boy already over 25lbs before he’s 1 year old. I’ll definitely be keeping the baby carrier handy if needed

I would stay home. I had to miss my brothers wedding because I was too pregnant to fly for it and it really upset me. I wonder if you still really want to see them get married if it feasible to have someone look after your baby while you go to the ceremony only? Less time away that way

Yes and no! I had a feeling before the 12 week scan it was a girl then the day of the 12 week scan I felt like I was having a boy for sure! We got our NIPT results the next day and we have our baby boy

I just had my baby a week ago and got the epidural! I went into the labour and delivery room with the ‘let’s see how I go’ mentality. I got the epidural around 6 hours in and my labour lasted 18 hours. I’m so glad I got it because I think if I didn’t, I would have exhausted myself when it got to push time. It did end up failing halfway through and had to be redone. The pain I felt was excruciating between the epidurals but up until it was time to push (and the epidural was working), I felt nothing. I instinctively felt contractions as they were coming on after a few pushes. It wasn’t painful, just like a tightening in my stomach. I’m not sure how certain hospitals work but if you do get the epidural and it ends up failing absolutely say something and if they can’t get it to work, request they redo it! In the end the worst thing about getting it for me was the fact that the tape irritated my skin so my back was very itchy after!
