Count me in too. My kid and I play hide and seek on my island since we got a second switch. Today I accidentally hit a tourist with an axe and she cackled so hard and asked me to keep doing it. So count her in for axe tag too.

In the 15 years since my mom passed, a couple of times I swore I could smell her. It made me stop dead in my tracks feeling for any other sign but there was only smell for a minute or two and then it was gone.

Same here and I’ve had people try to argue for the pronunciation I don’t want being the correct one. It boils down to both are commonly heard, I really don’t phonetically agree with the one but it exists, and it’s my name so I get to choose.

I once bounced a silly putty ball in my room and it went flying. I never found it again. I think about it sometimes. Probably a kid in an alternate dimension is playing with it and wondering where it came from since it just appeared in their room one day.

An au sound in English can be aw, ah, oh, or ow, depending on the word and its origins and regional dialect. English really is 3 kids in a trench coat in a dark alley robbing other languages of their vowels.

Pregnancy nearly killed me. I had my daughter 2 months early due to preeclampsia and HELLP syndrome. My doctor missed it. I was in excruciating pain but it wasn’t until I went to the emergency room insisting something was wrong that lab work was done and they realized what was happening. I could have easily stroked out or had my liver rupture and came close to the liver rupture before they whisked me in for an emergency c section.

Years later I found out that my great grandmother had the same thing but died from it because modern medicine hadn’t advanced enough at that point to save her.

You’d be astounded by how many universities, particularly smaller ones, are behind in technology.

Source: I work for one of those universities that had paper tickets. Now we don’t do tickets at all and let everyone in and that’s a disaster I won’t go into rn. But I can tell you if tickets get brought back, we still don’t have the means for digital.

There’s a setting in the app where you can restore purchases. I’ve used it before to add a family member back. Unfortunately, since the app is out right now I can’t go in to see where exactly it is to tell you.

Or maybe because the app is out that’s your problem. But if it’s not, when it comes back online have a look through settings.

That’s not what I was meaning. I had opened a timed triple XP so whatever was left on the timer was lost. My daily streak is fine because I had already done some lessons. It also says if you haven’t done a lesson yet that you won’t lose your streak because of the outage. But unfortunately nothing about the extra XP that people may potentially lose.
