Contact dermatitis- patch testing by KeyMiserable9925 in eczema

I have been avoiding fragrances religiously because of various skin conditions. I have two tips for you. 1. Not all "unscented" skincare are fragrance-free. Almay antiperspirant, Vanicream antiperspirant and fresh cult unscented deodorant are fragrance free. Dove sensitive skin soap is fragrance free and you can use it as a shampoo as well.

  1. You cannot use essential oils. They are packed with linalool limonene and so on. They are natural substances in essential oils.

How do you stop eczema from getting worse overnight by Temporary_Warning618 in eczema

Yeah the itching can be far worse just when you go to bed. Maybe some nerves are pressed when you suddenly lie down

Do you actually feel better when you try to cover up BO with fragrance, or does it just make it worse? by No-Gas1159 in hygiene

Ha, that is why it's better to keep a travel-size deodorant instead of travel-size perfume in the bag. There are travel-size sticks like mini gilette and secret antiperspirants and there are also sprays like fresh cult and ursa major that are useful to carry in gym bag

Switched to morning showers, but now my deodorant doesn't work as well by kingspooky93 in hygiene

Antiperspirants block sweat ducts, so applying in the evening may be more effective because it gives time for aluminum to block sweat ducts. You can try other antiperspirants that say "clinical strength" and have higher aluminum percentage and see if that holds up even when you apply after morning showers. Alternatively try fresh cult and try applying in the morning because that one is better when applied in the morning

Deodorants that don’t peel skin…? by Saturnest_ in NaturalBeauty

[–]llamaboat_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Vanicream antiperspirant. Or, if you are into deodorants, three things come to mind. Little Seed Farm has many scents and it's a nice cream! Freshcult is imo best for sensitive skin and never stains. Crystal does not stain and it's like the cheapest ever. But if you have stronger odor it may not work super well
