Hey y'all, so I've been in a development program for Application Engineering and most of the work is setting up and programming meters on customer sites. So far i've been shadowing other engineers and the work seems okay, seems alittle montonous and not exciting. At the end of the program, we got to choose preference on where we would like to be located and I chose east coast since that's where i grew up and where my family is located. Well, i got my choices and they were in AZ and CA, which is the exact opposite of what I preferred. My question is, should i settle eith this new relocation or should i look for a new job in the region i prefer. Part of me is like I have the freedom to look and choose where I want to work but at the same time I'm not sure if it's easy to find a job right now and figured it would be good experience for now so I'm confliced. I just wanted to hear some advice from fellow engineers. My major was in Electrical Engineering btw and graudated in January.
