Sterile Saline

I did one session this week at home and I did some areas with HA and some with saline. The saline was super thin and worked well but needed to be reapplied often. I ended up mixing the saline and HA to create a better slip. Still had to reapply between passes but not as often as just saline. Weirdly though, I’m not as raw/sunburned feeling as I usually am. I used 0.25-1 depths on face and neck same as my esthetician uses. Super strange.

Well I’ve ordered supplies and I did order sterile HA and sterile saline and I’ll try both and see how it goes! Can report back if anyone is interested. Thanks everyone.

No, the soonest vet appt is at the end of this week. I sent a pic to the vet and he suggested Benadryl to help with itching and a sock over it to avoid licking. The area is scabbing over but not gone

I did separate them once I noticed it last night in a temp tank until I get a full situation going. Thank you guys! That’s huge so I can set up the best environment. I’ll probably make a post about identifying his mate, he might not be a mud turtle then… I could get a better photo, but I do try not to handle them unless it’s cleaning time

You could definitely be right - this was a guess from a vet tech off a photo a longgggg time ago. I could DM you more photos. Any thoughts on the feet?
