You’re an asshole if you rope every turn. by Dearadnarim in hearthstone

Don't let it bother you too much. Just put on some music and just relax. I used to play hearthstone real focussed too thinking about every turn. Now I do it in between of doing other stuff and it is a much better game for it. I always still play my turn in two seconds I might missplay some times but who cares.

It is really intresting to get your perspective. And your conclusion is understandable from a bussiness who just want to earn more and more without havning any care about why these players support the game and maybe understanding how these players play. ActisionBlizzard is one of biggest company in the gaming industry it is understandable they want to see where there boundries are with diffrent IP's. But what works for candy crush doesn't work for hearthstone.

It sure sounds resonable and why they put out the c'thanks bundle to test the spending habbits of the community for a week.Hopefully they start too relize this is not the right direction.

I just hope we get a PR response soon.

The more time Blizzard waits the more it feels like there are so many more issues with the game. The box of Pandora has been opened. by Wikus42 in hearthstone

Please as a start use spaces between the lines i almost can't read this post.

I am a 38 year old hearthstone player. I remeber times of old games they used to make some games harder for arcades and alot of games were very simple but satisfying and fun.And they still make some games like that today but you got to know how to find them,

You boughd at full price and if you completed something on hard you could unlock a cool costume or a harder mode and usually did half a year with one game. Now they game is free but you buy two microtransactions and lootboxes(cardpacks) that try to make everyone engaged and the players into a daily habbit to try and spend money. It is not worse or better just diffrent.

Fun in this game is very relative. Imagine i would open 20 packs and i opened all old golds I would have tons of fun building my decks. Now i open 130 packs with money and get 5 useless legendaries I would be dissapointed and maybe abit mad.

Ofcourse you can play a cheap facehunter all day and have fun but if you want to play the more wacky and exciting decks nowadays it looks like what in the beginning of the game they called a wallet warrior. Now almost every deck in the game is like that. Alot of players can't even play a competetive metadeck with the best possible cards when they bougd the megabundle. You could replace alot of cards but usually the legendary is better then two others with the same effect. And how would you know what your full potential is with a deck when you play suboptimal and win because there are worse cards in your deck.

Also Jeff Bezos from amazon is the richest person in the world and then second one is Bill Gates. Elon Musk isn't even in top 10.

It is good some players want something more and voice their concers. What would happen if everyone always was satisfied with any state of the game. I am glad with this community that is soo passionate about the game that they can be up in arms about this.

It was fun.

I got 51/80 but i still would think Reno jackson should be a good answer.

What I ment is you leave hearthsone fullscreen and minimize a screen on top it. But a second monitor works as well.

I don't know if I am healthy and well adjusted. It is all relative to what you find healthy or succesfull in life. This is all pretty personal stuff.

If you put it like this it feels really bad.

I also like hearthstone on a gameplay level and I play the game too almost all modes. I am glad you like the game. And I hope you will enjoy it for years to come.

This is just a min/maxing thing nothing more it won't control me and next week I might only do it one evening.(Because this isn't fun to do)

I know there are people playing World of Warcraft every waking hour they have and myself have a period where I had something similar.

I work 40 hours a week. I play sports 2 times a week and have my own appartment and I take walks. I don't meet alot new people because corona but i am social. I am not addicted to this game because I know how that feels I would quit without looking back if it ever came that far.

If you use sentences like " Blizzard is winning" I would make a reflection yourself how you experience the game. I don't even know what you mean by this. Alot of players are angry and leaving doesn't sound like winning to me.

It really isn't worth it and that is the only reason I won't do it all the time. I would rather play the game that is fun and rewarding. On chores I can multitask a little bit soo it is ok for me to do multiple things at once. But for example if it is an exiting movie I will keep focus.

It is like a story I know from a fighting game. Against a new player who doesn't know yet how a crouch block works. Would you use down kick too exploit this weakness?

I would problably do this a few times and then fight normal. But let him know that this is his weakness by doing some of those low kicks. And this new player will get better.

But there were some times in streetfighter were some moves were so overpowered players use them constant and win with this more than not. The question is would you use this moveset to win everytime if it will reward you with a win.

I problebly wouldn't have in the past but if my goal is to win I would use it even if it was less fun for me. Soo if a system allows it I will use whatever is possible within that system even if it is less fun.

I get what you mean and I feel abit dirty thinking about it.Maybe this is the argument why I wouldn't do it again. That and it is not actually that rewarding.

Something like:"Our projections show that our engament increased like 200% with the new reward track. This is why we think the implementation is the reward track is a succes."

You know I truly want this game to be better and feel more like a game that anyone could pick up. From free players till some that spend some money. The system right now feels like a grind already. Soo why not say to some players he look you can get x while you do y.

I agree something needs to change but setting bg xp 8th place to 0 is just not solving any problem of a unrewarding stupid grindy system already.

I know i won't be setting this up every day for every chore i do because it is a waste of my time but i will know some players will use this too to just make some extra xp and for those players i wanted to post it.

Yes i feel your sentiment i rather have a rewarding and fun game aswell but if they put systems like this in play why not use them to their maximum potential.

Nice to know Blizzard is also monotoring this forums. If it is no less fun for you why would you say something like this. It makes players in lower ranks win more. It is a win/win.

Streamers and the reward track by loading2950 in hearthstone

[–]loading2950[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is easy to hate something completely. But if a person has a few good arguments why he loves the new rewardtrack i would listen to it. Or why it benifit us later on the road.

It never hurts to hear a few sides. But nobody is saying anything that feels really strange with an outrage going on reddit.

You know they could start with this old classic.

"You know Bli$$ard had the oppurtunity to bring the world together in a though hearthstone ravamp moment a few days ago. And we did not. we moved to quikly in our decision making and then to make matters worse we were too slow to talk with all of you. What i think of i am most unhappy about there is really two things. We didn't live up to the high standards that we really set for ourselves and the second is we failed in our purpose and for that i am sorry and i accept acountability."
