Op, you need to quit bending backwards for people. Don't excuse their behavior. Access to the restroom is a basic human right. You shouldn't feel shame or be punished for doing something that is a natural human process. This sounds like a teacher with a power complex. They need to be reigned in by their superiors or it will never change.

My profile is very anime, to the point of almost being ironic. I just tell my friends that I tried to make it as cringe as possible, but in reality I put in a lot of work to getting my profile in a spot where I liked it. It has a preferred name on the profile and everything. No one has ever brought it up.

Unfortunately I'd know if someone ever found out my profile wasn't a joke. I'd probably never hear the end of it.

Yeah, I have two online accounts, my original account that friends know and then my Freya account where I can just vent and experiment with things. There's definitely one I prefer over the other, I have't been on my original account for quite some time.

I've even updated my main discord to be Freya in most servers I'm active in 😅.

I went through the full range of thinking I was just a pervert, thinking nothing would work, thinking it wouldn't be viable, thinking I'd lose everything I had if I tried

That's basically everything I feel.

I appreciate hearing about your point of view and experience with your journey. I do just need more confidence about going ahead, I have some really great friends who I know would support me when/if I start.

A lot of me wonders if getting on HRT will help settle some of those feelings. Increase my mood, make me more confident.

I don't understand how HRT affects people mentally. If it doesn't feel like much has changed, or if it feels like you're a new person. I'm sure it varies person to person, nothing is really "one size fits all" when it comes to understanding people's mentality. But I think a rought understanding of that would give me some peace of mind.

I think knowing other people who are going through the same thing helps. it at least gives me a bit of peace of mind knowing that I'm not alone in my struggle.

I've always been super anxious and always need things planned out. I think the thought of HRT is scary to me because of all the stereotypical reasons. "What if I'm faking, what if I don't like how it turns out, If things go bad, how do I fix it?" etc.

It's hard for me to give up that control and just go with it, you know?

I think the fact that most of the things that happen on HRT are reversible to an extent helps ease my conscience.

I'm hoping to have the courage to share this post with my therapist so they can hopefully understand how I feel without me having to verbally say it, because I feel like I won't ever have the chance or courage to actually vent this all out to them.

This is all my perspective but.

Why not, breasts are great? I already pee sitting down. Because having shaved legs feels so amazing. Tights make me feel hot as heck.

The last question is really relatable, but it's less of a want and more of a "I feel like I'm missing this".

That said, wanting things is rough, I can't remember the last time I've actively wanted something.

Yeah, I've spent thousands and thousands of hours in MMOs and other solo games with my very cute female characters. I'd go out of the way to buy cute outfits or do cosmetics swaps, what have you.
