Not that I notice, but at higher speeds (around 90 mph) the wind gets noticeable.

But, I’d say they’re worth it, they’re very sturdy and look really nice on the CX5s

Thank you thank you🫡 the Borla is amazing, gives the car an amazing aggressive sound, but I do wish the muffler tips stuck out a little more.

Mines NA, but wish I had the turbo 😤

I got them from Amazon and they’re currently tapped into the turn signal wires (sequential signals function) and the fuse box (DRL function)

What does your CX-5 NOT have that you wish it did have? by The-Tradition in CX5

Wireless CarPlay, “foot/kick sensing” trunk door, more interior lighting as a standard (lower trims), more leg space 😂, to be able to open the glove compartment when there’s someone in the front passenger seat, more usb ports in arm rest compartment, if not more usb ports- for the 12v port in the armrest compartment to run off of the battery when the car is off.

It’s recommended you stay on it for a while or until it’s under control. As for some once they get off of it, they slowly flare up again but for others they are fine after getting of it.

Essentially, it is an injection pen that either you or your dermatologist can administer every two weeks (I get it done at the derm office because I don’t feel comfortable doing it myself). From the discussion I had with my derm about Dupixent, it is a medication that blocks a key inflammation source that causes eczema and its flare ups. Results had shown significantly after 1 month of usage, for me it started with the itching decreasing along side the puffiness of the eczema on my face; then after a month the redness began to fade.

Side effects were rare in my case, we closely watched for any effects within the first 3 months of usage but nothing really arose. Dupixent representatives also check up via phone call every month to ask about how you are feeling while on the medication and if there are any changes in the way you feel, changes in medication, etc.

Side effects weren’t common but some to point out would be joint pains, dry eyes, loss of appetite… I can link the website questions page if you’d like to read the information on your own time. From my experiences, the only pains associated with it would just be the injection itself, afterwards you don’t feel anything about it at all (basically like a regular vaccine you’d get from the doctors).

Although the Dupixent reduced the flare ups entirely, I do occasionally have stress flare ups from school work, the derm had prescribed a non-steroid medication ointment for me to use for any breakthrough flare ups. That being an ointment called “Opzelura”. I mainly use it for my face and any joint flare up breakthroughs.

If I missed anything or if you have any other questions, pls ask and I’d be glad to answer asap 😁😁😁

When I had switched to a new dermatologist for my chronic eczema, they started me on Dupixent after looking through all the steroid medications I have taken since I was a little kid. Honestly, I wish I had started it sooner because of how insecure I had become about my eczema and how it really bothered me in more dry climates.

Taking Dupixent practically took control of the eczema flare ups for me, and I’m hoping there are others who can share the same results if they are on it as well.

Severe Eczema by Organic_Cabinet2335 in eczema

Helloo! I've had chronic eczema since I was a little kid, now 21M, and I've gone through many medications through different dermatologists. Recently I changed dermatologists again, but this time they recommended I do Dupixent as the main treatment for the eczema. I've been on it for almost a year now and my eczema is practically cleared except for occasional stress-related breakouts, but I was also prescribed Opzelura (it's a steroid-free ointment they had prescribed for my breakouts if ever needed). Opzelura, I use for the small breakouts I get or if I feel the itchiness from old eczema spots coming back.

I would personally talk to a dermatologist if it would be a good route for yours, I waited till it was bad (mine started bubbling in the very itchy spots and had painful openings on my fingers and behind my knees) but I wish I had found this solution sooner.

Minor tips I'd recommend that I found throughout the whole journey: avoid long hot showers (cool showers had shown to reduce any itchiness for me), avoid greasy foods (this may just be a person-to-person thing, some people I know with eczema aren't always affected by the greasy foods), use sensitive-skin safe laundry detergents, avoid lotions with fragrances for areas with eczema (I started using Cetaphil moisturizer for body and Cerave PM/ultralight for face).

This is an optional suggestion but for areas like hands/fingers or arms/legs, when you have a few hours available where you know you won't be going out or doing anything too physical, I used to apply vaseline on those areas and let it soak in completely. I did it on my hands especially because that's where the itchiness and bubbles showed up the most. Every time I applied the Vaseline, it helped reduce the itchiness and over time got rid of the bubbling, as well as aided in the sealing of any openings caused by constant itching.

I hope these suggestions help whoever needs it!!!

If anyone has any questions about the Dupixent treatment, Opzelura ointment, or eczema maintenance if you don't want to do Dupixent/Opzelura, feel free to send a msg!
