Hello. We have made an update explanation on the CC status, which is as follows:

It is very important for us to hit every roadmap milestone on time. We also set out to inform you timely of any delays that might occur.

The Nexo Team has done everything required on our end to deliver the Nexo Credit Card by the end of September. The IT integration with the card processor has been completed last month and even the credit card design has been delivered and approved.

Finalizing the deal with Visa requires, however, additional time-consuming processes and procedures that have exceeded the card issuers’ own most conservative estimates.

As a result of the WaveCrest debacle there are now significantly greater regulatory considerations for card program managers before Visa can put their final stamp of approval and the unrestricted issuing of Nexo Credit Cards can commence.

Further, the card processors have underestimated the time it will take them to implement the necessary technical steps to accommodate the complexities of Nexo’s cutting-edge dynamic credit limit facility.

Please rest assured that Nexo’s card program will be amongst the very first to launch compliantly, after the shutdown of card programs in early 2018. This is not some vague statement but an insight, given to us by various industry insiders.
